Pre-op information for Dogs:

Female Dogs are brought in the morning of surgery between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

Male Dogs are brought in the morning of surgery between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

All Dogs need to be brought in on a leash. If you need to cancel or reschedule we require that you do so 3 business days prior to the appointment date. If you cannot reschedule within 3 business days or do not show up for the appointment your deposit will be forfeit. This is because we have to pay the doctor for every surgery spot booked. We as a nonprofit cannot afford to cover all no shows or last-minute cancelations.

Be sure all medications and/or supplements are stopped 2 weeks prior to surgery, if your animal is currently on medication or supplements for their surgery date you may be denied surgery and rescheduled.

Finally, and very importantly, absolutely no food or water after midnight the night before surgery.

Pre-op information for Cats:

Male Cats are brought in the morning of surgery between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Female Cats are brought in the morning of surgery between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

All cats are to be brought in separate carriers with towels or blankets on the bottom for comfort of the pet. The carriers need to be plastic, cloth, or cardboard. NO ALL WIRE CARRIERS. The outside of the carriers need to be labeled with the owners last name and the pets first name for identification of that carrier.
